This is a short video that my son Brian Bonvissuto and I made to endorse the terrific KR "INDIGO Big Blue” Plunger developed by trumpet great Kenny Rampton & Ed Hirschman, and available at www.hirschmanmutes.com.

A live performance honoring the great Dick Lieb. I'm featured here playing Dick's terrific arrangement with the Greg Ruvolo Big Band Collective, which features some of the finest musicians in New York (or anywhere). Originally recorded by Urbie Green, this is a great example of the artistry of one of the finest arrangers/composers of his generation. (Recording made on an iPhone.)

One of my favorite Antonio Carlos Jobim tunes, here expertly arranged and recorded by Ross Konikoff who also plays the beautiful trumpet/flugel tracks. 

Jack and I were featured at the 1988 NY Brass Conference honoring Charlie Small playing Hoagy Carmichael's New Orleans, arranged by Jack. We were introduced by Dick Lieb and accompanied by the Charlie Small Trombone Octet.
